  • We organize this tour everyday, for this reason we recommend the passengers stay at least one whole day in Cusco to Acclimatize, this is a prerequisite to go on this tour because you start to walk over 4600mts (15091 fts) and the summit is over 5020mts (16469 fts).
  • It is recommended to not take part in the trek if over 60 years of age or in poor physical conditions. Due to the high altitude and steep climbing, it can be dangerous for your health. Other tour operators won’t tell you this, so be very careful.

Unquestionably, this is the best we have done on the hike!
We took the less traveled road to Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley, the total time of about 8 1/2 hours. It is a very difficult trek considering the altitude (make sure you acclimate before taking this hike since it is very high).

Such a wonderful experience!
The hike is tough, but the view from the top makes every step worth it. For even more stunning views, I’d highly recommend the short trek to the Red Valley afterwards.

Amazing Rainbow Mountain!
I did the Rainbow Mountain with my family and it was an amazing experience it was very challenging but at the end it worth it. My children used horse in the hardest part but me and my wife did it walking. I recommend everybody to do this full day trek before doing any other trek toward Machupicchu, highly recommended.

Spectacular!
Moderate hike! Early wake up wherever you are and fairly longwalk. It can be cold and windy, gets warmer when it gets later (if the sun is up). It´s not the easiest trail because of the altitude. Especially the last part. Just take it slow and breathe! The views are way worth it! The snow and the rainbow patterns on the mountains with the alpacas and horses on the sides of the hills. Will remember the day forever.
