Maras Moray mountain biking tour: This beautiful bicycle tour will allow you to discover the high part of the Sacred Valley of The Incas. This tour combines magnificent views of the Sacred Valley and the mountains snow overlooking, the discovery of archaeological sites, and the freedom that comes with the practice of mountain biking on small roads, and also having a view of the traditional agricultural life.

Due to early pick up time of services, we recommend you to book your hotel in Cusco city center. But in case you are staying in an AirBnB accommodation, we can arrange the pick up from a well known location.
07:00 - 08:30 Pick up and transportation to Chinchero
You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:00 via private van with your IncaHighlands guide and crew. After a 1.5 hour journey through the beautiful countryside with snow capped mountains in the distance you will reach the village of Cruz Pata at 3550m.
08:30 - 11:30 : Biking to Moray
This will be the starting point for the biking tour, from here you’ll get familiar with your biking equipment and after going over a few safety procedures the ride begins. During the first part of the ride we’ll pass a lake, there are a few up- hills and a some nice downhills with optional single-tracks for those who like it a bit more technical.
The scenery is unforgettable with excellent views of the Veronica mountain range. The first main stop will be at the Incan agricultural testing site of Moray (3575m) and we’ll take a break here to catch our breath and explore the area.
11:00 - 14:30 : Lunch and Maras salt mines
Continuing the ride we’ll arrive to Maras where we’ll have our lunch break. After lunch we’ll carry on riding to the crystal-white terraces of the pre Incan salt mines of Maras.
14:30 - 17:00 : Urubamba and return to Cusco
Continue on the best downhill of the day – a 30 minute downhill on a llama path ending on the bank of the Urubamba river (2875m). Here we finish the tour and return to Cusco, arriving back to your hotel around 5pm.
