The great thing about Inca Highalnds Adventure Travel is that from the very beginning we have led remote style trekking and adventure based trips in Cusco, making for natural social distancing situations. We have also developed and implemented enhanced sanitation and distancing protocols to keep our travelers, guides and local communities healthy and safe.
As countries and travel bans lift we are fully prepared and ready to get you on one of our award winning and life changing adventures.

We are offering peace of mind booking, allowing flexibility for new bookings: 100% refund up until 10 days before departure (minus processing fees associated with bookings).
What happens if Inca Highlands postpones my trip because of COVID-19 travel restrictions?
If we postpone your trip due to COVID-19 restrictions we are offering full credits for a future booking or a full refund of the trip costs.
If you choose to rebook you will receive full credits to be used towards future travel with us, good through December 31, 2022.
If you cancel your trip what happens?
You can cancel your trip up to 10 days before departure and transfer 100% of your travel credit to any future trip, these credits must be used by December 31, 2022. On the other hand, you receive a 100% refund of your booking.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions together with the general information contained on this website (Terms and Conditions) form the basis of your contract with Inca Highlands (Operator) and apply to your booking via this website/ or direct through email. By paying your deposit you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions.
FORCE MAJEURE
This is any event that Inca Highlands could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. This covers events such as war or threat, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, disease, disaster or adverse weather conditions, fire or all similar events beyond our control. In this case, Inca Highlands will not accept liability and reserves the right to change, postpone or even cancel the trip (this is the last option of course!).
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance that covers accidents, medical expenses and emergency repatriation, including rescue and air ambulance. We also recommend that it covers cancellations and loss of luggage. Please forward a copy/ company name and policy number by email or bring the information when you come to our office.
PAYMENTS
Partial or full payment for your booking is required in order to confirm dates. You agree to make payment via PayPal. The amount debited will be the amount shown in US dollars on your invoice via PayPal. This will be charged to your card at the amount shown or converted to your local currency by your credit card company. Depending upon the currency of the booking, your credit card’s currency and the country in which your card was issued, your credit card provider may impose foreign exchange fees and other fees in accordance with your arrangements with that credit card provider. We are not responsible for currency conversion or any fees imposed by your credit card provider and any questions relating to such matters should be directed to them.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation fees for all Inca Highlands Tours/ Treks are charged on the following basis per person:
CUSCO DAY TOURS: Full payment is required to make a reservation for our group service tours and the 50% of deposit is required for any private tour. 100% of that payment is refundable up to 14 prior to the trek/tour departure date and 50% of that payment is refundable up to 48 hours prior to the trek departure date. We do not provide refunds due to altitude sickness, food poisoning, family emergencies or any other reason given by the passenger. NO EXCEPTIONS. For this reason travel insurance is highly recommended.
MACHU PICCHU TOURS: A 50% deposit is required to reserve dates. Deposits are non refundable or transferable under any circumstance. Your remaining balance is possible to pay on your arrival in our office. We do not provide refunds due to altitude sickness, food poisoning, family emergencies or any other reason given by the passenger. NO EXCEPTIONS. For this reason travel insurance is highly recommended.
OPERATOR CANCELLATIONS
The Operator reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any trip should weather or any other circumstance necessitate this. Once the trek has departed from Cusco, no portion of the package payment is refundable in the event of an individual or group being unable to proceed further on the trip, for whatever reason. Should the trip be cancelled prior to departing from Cusco, due to weather or any other circumstance the customer will receive a full refund via the same method paid. Should the Operator cancel the tour due to forces of nature or any other reason after the tour has departed from Cusco no refunds will be submitted. Customers take full responsibility in knowing the Operator is not able to control weather and there is always the possibility of hiking in rain, wind, snow or fog. Conditions can change at any moment and without notice. Should the Operator need to cancel the tour midway through the hike, no refunds will be provided.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Whilst we try to accommodate most notified special dietary requirements, we operate in an extremely isolated environment and this is not always possible. We must be informed of any dietary requirements prior to any trek or we may be unable to accommodate this need. If you have any allergies to food that are life threatening you are required to carry the proper medical equipment should a contamination reaction occur.
CONFIRMATION EMAIL
On completion of your payment, you will be emailed a booking confirmation which will include important details about what you can expect, what you need to bring, what is supplied and where you need to be at what time. Please ensure that you read through this information thoroughly to ensure that you are adequately prepared for your trek. You are responsible for ensuring that you are dressed appropriately and you have appropriate footwear to undertake the trek.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Operator reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying customers. Any bookings you make will be made subject to the Terms and Conditions which apply at the time a booking is made and you are advised to read all the Terms and Conditions carefully on each occasion prior to making a booking.
